Your ANSYS Customer Portal Credentials

Customers/Partners/Students
If you are a Customer, Partner or Student, you must log in with your email address and the password you created when you registered for the ANSYS Customer/Student Portal.

Prospects
If you are a Prospect evaluating ANSYS software, a temporary login for the ANSYS Customer Portal should be automatically created for you. You will need to obtain the proper credentials from the individual who provided you with your temporary license key.

ANSYS Staff
If you are a member of the ANSYS staff you must log in using your ANSYS email address and your ANSYS SSO password. The password you used for the original ANSYS Customer Portal portal cannot be used for this portal.
Note: Your username is your email address and NOT your ANSYS SSO username.


Common Login Error Messages

Error Message: “Bad user name or password.”

Problem: You have entered either an invalid user name or an incorrect password.

Solution: Refer to “Your ANSYS Customer Portal Credentials” above to confirm that you are entering the correct credentials.

If you have confirmed that you are entering the correct credentials and you continue to receive this error message after repeated attempts, click on the “Forgot Your Password” link on the login page to receive a temporary password. An email containing a temporary password will be sent immediately to the email address you use to log in. If this email is not received within minutes, please check your spam folder for a message from noreply@localhost in case it was put into your spam folder. After you have received the temporary password you will be able to log in and will be asked to immeidately create a new password.

 
Error Message: “You have attempted to log in too many times. Your account has been locked.”

Problem: This message is displayed after you have made four consecutive login attempts with an incorrect password.

Solution: To deter spambots, you will be locked out for 90 seconds for each failed login attempt. After that time period you may attempt to log in again.


Forgot Your Password?

Customers, Partners and Students
If you have forgotten your password, you must use the “Forgot Your Password” link on the login page to request that a temporary password be sent to your email address (the email address you use to log in). An email containing a temporary password will be sent immediately to that address. If this email is not received within minutes, please check your spam folder for a message from noreply@localhost in case it was put into your spam folder. After you have received the temporary password you will be able to log in and will be asked to immeidately create a new password.

ANSYS Staff
The “Forgot Your Password?” link does NOT work for ANSYS Employees. Your password is managed via the ANSYS Single Sign On (SSO) system and must be changed there.


Still Having Login Problems?

Use the “Login Support” link on the login page to submit a Portal Help Request if you are still unable to log in. Be sure to select “Other” as the category so your ticket can be routed efficiently.
